PHYSICAL CONDITION

Athletes train daily to improve their physical condition [morning-afternoon] A specialized training is applied in order to improve:

  • Aerobic endurance & capacities
  • Anaerobic power and endurance
  • Speed & Resistance to speed
  • Suppleness – Flexibility
  • Explosive power
  • Strength – Resistance to strength

MOUNTAIN PREPARATION

The Academy’s athletes are transferred every year to a mountainous area of Cyprus with high altitude for preparation, with the main target of improving their physical condition. This is recorded on video for analysis of technique.

BEACH PREPARATION

Also, during the period of preparation, athletes train on the beach for improvement of their physical condition.
